About Les'n'Moore

Once upon a time, I was bored at work. I had a legal pad that I was supposed to take notes on, but there were no notes to take and I'd done all the work I could do for the day. So I started this story. I wrote one page, cursive, single spaced. I had no plans of what I wanted for it, I had not specific intentions of finishing it. But then I found myself in similar circumstances on other days. So I wrote other pages. Each entry in this story was about one page's worth of Legal pad paper. Cursive, single spaced, and written without a specific plan. Then life changed and I stopped writing this story.
One morning, a few years later, I woke up, having had a dream, that would be perfect for a different story. I thought and planned and outlined, but the big WHY was still missing for one of the characters. One thought led to another until I decided his story could be part of this story. So I wrote a bridge between stories. (I do so like it when stories are connected). It was at this point that I started writing Les'n'Moore again. I still don't have specific plans for the outline, so it's still by the seat of my pants. I do know that one specific thing has to happen eventually, so I have a direction. Yet, I can still be surprised by it, like all the readers. Also, instead of the legal pad, each section is eyeballed to match the general size of the former entries. Instead of writing one each day, I write a few and schedule them to post once a day. Though, I have been writing most days.
Overall, this story is a strategy/challenge/schedule, I've put in place for myself to continue writing on a regular basis. I hope to get better as I go on, and if I can, I'd like to spin a story that's not altogether boring.
